It provides free public transport and city Wi-Fi, and a 25% reduction on selected museums, the zoo, the theatre, the sightseeing bus and the Rhine ferry crossing.
Kunstmuseum Basel, the world's oldest public art collection, is a ten-minute walk away.
Tinguely Museum, designed by Mario Botta, is twenty minutes.

Art Basel is held every year in June at Messe Basel, a fifteen-minute walk from the hotel.

Rooms are available from 3 pm, and must be vacated by 12 noon at the latest.
A later arrival is always possible: reception is open around the clock.
Hotel D Basel is a cashless property: only card payments are accepted (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro and JCB).
A credit card is requested at check-in. A pre-authorisation of 50 CHF will be made as a guarantee.
Payment is settled on departure.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before arrival — that is, after 4 pm CET the previous day — or fail to show up, the first night of your stay is charged for bookings made at a flexible rate.
